iTEP will allow in-home testing utilizing our virtual proctoring process called Fotosure. The test-taker must have an activated webcam positioned to fully see the test-taker. iTEP has zero tolerance for cheating and every single test taken is examined by our graders. Note taking on paper is not allowed for IVP testing used at-home. Included with all Virtual Proctoring testing is a free preview test upon registration.

How can I receive my score?

To receive your score please head to the verification page here. You will need to provide identifying information to access your scores.

How often can I take a test?

You must wait 7 days after taking an iTEP test before you are permitted to take another test. We may invalidate tests without refund if they are taken within the same 7-day period.

My scores are not available yet; what can I do?

Scores may take up to two business days to be delivered. However, if there is a technical difficulty or suspicion of cheating, your test may take longer to be completed. If you believe your test delivery is late, please get in touch.

An error occurred during my test; can I start over?

If you encounter an error during your test, you will be able to repeat any section affected. Our administrators will be in touch with you as soon as an error is detected.

iTEP Academic-Plus

The iTEP Academic- Plus covers Grammar, Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking. Test purchases are non-refundable and include a digital badge with CEFR level.

iTEP SLATE-Plus

For Middle/High School International Admissions: the SLATE- Plus exam which covers Grammar, Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking. Test purchases are non-refundable.

You will receive an email containing both your official test ID and a practice test within a few minutes after the purchase is completed.

Make time to prepare for your test by reading one of our preparation guides, taking a prep course, and using the provided practice test.

Take the official test at your convenience and receive your scores within 24 hours. The scores can also be submitted to the school of your choice if you choose to do so during the registration.
