High School Admissions
iTEP SLATE (Secondary Level Assessment Test of English) was specifically designed to evaluate the English proficiency of secondary-level students. It accomplished this through the use of adaptive content that is both challenging and age-appropriate. iTEP SLATE-Plus (our admissions test) evaluates grammar, listening, reading, writing, and speaking with score ranges from 0-6. All iTEP tests are aligned to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference) and deliver detailed score reports within 24 hours.
iTEP’s security measures are thorough. From prevention to post-assessment monitoring, we will ensure that all results submitted to partner institutions are an accurate portrayal of the applicant’s English abilities. To read about our full security measures click here.
iTEP SLATE-Plus for admissions is administered online, at-home or at a certified iTEP Test Center. SLATE Core is administered online, at-home or at private institutions — a paper format is also available.
iTEP SLATE-Plus can be taken at any certified iTEP Test Center worldwide for $129 USD.
