Like almost everyone now, the staff at iTEP International are working to adapt to an operating environment with COVID-19. In many countries our public test centers are closed for the foreseeable future. In response to this situation, iTEP has been diligently working on developing an in-home testing option for international admissions.
Our goal is to ensure test-taker health and safety while maintaining test security and integrity of scores for our partner schools. The good news is that many of our iTEP professional exams have already been designed to be delivered in-home, so we have been able to make a quick and efficient transition with our admissions testing.
Effective Tuesday, March 17, 2020 iTEP International will be waiving our test center requirement and will allow in-home testing for international student admissions using iTEP Virtual Proctoring. What does this mean exactly?
iTEP Virtual Proctoring for International Admissions
As soon as our test centers reopen, we will revert back to business as normal. In this interim period, though, iTEP recognizes that international admissions is a time-sensitive process and cannot be delayed.
What next?
For current iTEP Admissions Partner schools: simply provide your prospective students with the iTEP Virtual Proctoring link and make sure to remind them to select your school.
For new schools interested in using iTEP Virtual Proctoring: please complete our short online registration form. We will expedite your application and have you ready for testing within 24 hours.
Please note for the People’s Republic of China, we will be using a special Chinese-language webpage and server to assist with testing there. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact [email protected].
