Los Angeles, March 26, 2019 – Jim Brosam II. has been appointed Executive Vice President (EVP) of iTEP International (iTEP). He succeeds Dan Lesho who is departing iTEP on March 31 to become Senior Director of Pathway and English Programs at the University of California, Davis in May 2019. As EVP, Brosam will handle the day-to-day operations of iTEP International. He will start on May 1, 2019.

Brosam has over twenty years of experience in higher education and has been affiliated with iTEP since 2010, first as an iTEP test center director, and then as the iTEP test distributor for the Midwest and Southern regions of the USA. From 2000 – 2010, Brosam worked at the University of Central Arkansas, first as Director of University Communications and Marketing, and then later as Associate Vice President for International Affairs. He has been a faculty member and/or staff member at several two year colleges and four year universities in Illinois and Arkansas. Brosam has a bachelor’s degree in Finance and an MBA from Eastern Illinois University. He has directed international projects in over 40 countries and currently serves on the Membership Engagement Committee of NAFSA: Association of International Educators.

“I am honored to be selected and am excited at being part of the iTEP Intl. team. Really iTEP is more of a family than a team, and I am looking forward to meeting and working with everyone including the international distributors and iTEP test center operators, partner schools, ESL professionals who grade our iTEP exams, and the iTEP Intl. staff in California. Despite the many challenges currently in international education, I believe the future is bright and positive for iTEP,” said Jim Brosam II.

The International Test of English Proficiency (iTEP) was introduced in 2008 to modernize English language assessment with on-demand scheduling, 24 hour grading, and accurate test data. iTEP provides a convenient and cost-effective testing option delivered in a highly secure environment.

iTEP offers a variety of assessment tools for university and secondary school admissions and ESL placement, hiring and employee assessment (including tests for specific industries), and iTEP Conversation, which assesses conversation skills in 30 minutes. All iTEP exams are graded by certified and trained native English speakers.

More than 800 colleges, universities, middle/high schools, and boarding schools in the USA and Canada accept iTEP results for admissions. Applicants can take iTEP at more than 500 test centers in 61 countries. iTEP International is headquartered in Los Angeles, California.
